Diane gained a Cert Ed at CCCU in 1996 and has worked at the Home Office for the past 18 years. Combining work and study, Diane completed an MA in Social Work in 2019 and says: “I did the MA to support my volunteering role with Homestart as many of the families I interact with have a Social Worker”.  

Diane has kindly been back to CCCU to deliver a session to students about ‘Imposture Syndrome’, and says: “she recognises that going to university can be a daunting experience”. Diane is interested in the areas of Intersectionality of Social Mobility, Neurodiversity, as well as Diversity and Inclusion.

In her spare time Diane enjoy riding her motorbike, exercising and spending time with her family.
