After working at Christ Church as a CCSU Trustee Officer, Emily went on to complete her BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management at CCCU in 2019, becoming a Student Ambassador for the University. Emily followed this up by completing an MSc Postgraduate Human Resources Management studies at University of Kent, in 2021.

Emily has stayed at the University of Kent and is currently working as a Learning and Development (L&D) Facilitator with the Postgraduate Ambassador Scheme, Kent Business School. Emily says her role includes: “Providing motivational leadership, coaching, mentoring and training for a group of 10 undergraduate students; supporting the director of coaching/learning and development to maximise performance in the L&D Facilitators team”.

Emily also enjoys, as part of her role, handing out awards and leaderships certificates to students at the The Paul Dyer Leadership Programme – a weekend programme to help bolster student’s confidence and personal skills, and develop employability and leadership potential.
