Award-winning children’s authoress, alumna and Honorary Fellow of Christ Church since 2006, Geraldine McCaughrean has now scooped her latest prize, winning the Carnegie Medal for the second time.
Geraldine first won the medal in 1988 for her book A Pack of Lies. This latest award is for her book Where the World Ends. Geraldine has also won the Whitbread Children’s Prize (four times), Guardian Fiction Award, Smarties Bronzes (four times) and The Blue Peter Book of the Year.
