Julie graduated in her Masters in 2020 and currently works as a part-time careers adviser within the Harris Federations.

Julie says: “I work with students across a handful of academies in one to one and small group settings, helping them to recognise and explore their post-16 and post-18 options, and to understand how they can work toward their future career goals. I also spend two days a week working in short term roles as an interim careers adviser for various secondary schools and Sixth Form colleges across Greater London.

“I love the flexibility my roles award me, and by working in a range of organisations, I am constantly building on my subject knowledge, and learning how to adapt my approach to meet the diverse needs of the young people with whom I have the privilege of supporting”.
