After graduating, Nancy headed off to Vancouver for a year and ended up temping for a Recruitment project run by Accenture – of course, also taking some time off, to travel west to east with a stop off in the Rockies for a bit of snow shoeing.

Upon returning to the UK, Nancy continued with a career in recruitment, working for James Harvard International (later bought by Hays) and Earthstream Global. Nancy’s roles within these companies were primarily operations and IT based, and that meant managing the recruitment CRM (itris recruitment software by Itec Systems) and training staff on the system. When the opportunity arose to work for Itec directly, Nancy jumped at the chance, joining in 2015 as a Trainer.

Nancy is now Training Manager for the recruitment software company and says, ‘’I provide training at all levels to our clients and staff on our software, including new user, super user, configuration and all our additional tools. Training is conducted face to face at client premises, face to face in our training centre and online. I also produce training videos and documentation to assist CRM users. Additionally, I run a comprehensive induction and training schedule for our internal staff.

I’m an advocate for continued learning and have completed the CIPD’s Certified Learning & Development Practitioner certificate and the LPI’s Certified Online Learning Facilitator course, both of which I highly recommend for anybody interested in a career in Learning & Development’’.
