Nicola completed a Graduate Teacher Programme at Christ Church in 2008. After the birth of her first child in 2016, Nicola left her mainstream teaching and management role to set up her own SEN (Special Educational Needs) provision to support students struggling with emotional, behavioural and learning disabilities.

‘Learn to Shine’ has just won its third award since inception at the Kent Women in Business awards in March 2020. Nicola says: “All of our students and families are thrilled, and we can’t wait to develop further in the near future!”
