Drop-in, book on to a workshop or event

During the Covid-19 outbreak, drop in sessions at the Careers Hub on the ground floor of Augustine House are suspended, as are on-campus workshops and events. However, you can still book one-on-one sessions online and the Careers and Enterprise Team are working to reconfigure their events programme to bring you more online support.

GradForce is a specific project dedicated to providing a concentrated programme of upskilling, in addition to the ongoing support offered by Careers and Enterprise.

If you have graduated in the last year and would like to work in the Kent and Medway area, GradForce are here to support and guide you in the right direction to help you to find that first graduate role. This is available up to a year after you graduate. The Careers and Enterprise team will support you up to three years after you graduate.

What is GradForce?
GradForce is a project funded by the Office for Students (OfS) to help local students transition into highly skilled graduate employment. GradForce aims to help local CCCU graduates progress into graduate employment in the local small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, and to increase the number of graduate jobs in Kent and Medway overall.

How can GradForce help?
GradForce are here to support you in finding a graduate role to suit your skills and your needs. The Team also aims to make links with local employers who may have available graduate roles in the industries you are looking at.

The support you can get through GradForce includes:

  • Access to virtual 1-1 appointments with a qualified careers advisor

  • Guiding you to helpful resources and top tips to aid in your job search
