Congratulations Richard Ludlow, OBE

We are delighted to be able to congratulate Richard Ludlow, BEd (Hons) 1987, who has recently been recognised in the Queen’s birthday Honours list 2019, receiving an OBE for services to Education (York, North Yorkshire).
Richard is an experienced leader (NLE) and Fellow of the UK National College for Teaching and Leadership, with a track record of successfully leading, managing and improving schools. He was the founder Headteacher of the Ebor Academy Trust, of which he is now the CEO, a sponsoring academy which works to transform schools in difficulty. Richard was also a founding member of the Ebor Teaching School Alliance, which resulted in the lead school becoming a National Support School.
Richard says “Our Trust has been successful in developing an initial teacher training programme and school-to-school support service, raising achievement in many other schools in the region. Ofsted has judged my leadership as outstanding. I am an enthusiastic educator who is happy working in a forward-looking organisation that has children, their achievement and enjoyment at the heart.
Richard also adds “I’m proud to be one of the many Christ Church alumni.” And Christ Church is proud of him!
