Whether you are starting your first-ever job, or just switching to a new job- it’s a nerve-wracking time- but you are not alone!
In aid of ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’, we are taking a close look at new job anxiety and how we can prepare, understand, and overcome the challenges of new-job anxiety.
We will explore how you can prepare for your first day, how to manage the complexities of your first week and how you can settle into the culture and changes of a new environment beyond the first few weeks. We will explore common workplace phobias and how you can manage and conquer these fears as well as look into reasonable adjustments you can adopt to aid the transition into your new role.
This workshop is suitable for those who are/will be joining the workforce for the first time and those switching to a new role or starting a new career journey.
This session is open to current students, staff and recent alumni and will be delivered in person. We hope to see you there!
