2022 marks 60 years of Canterbury Christ Church and we invite you to join us as we Light Up the Night in a spectacular launch of our Jubilee celebrations.

From Augustine House, will we walk into our beautiful and historic City, visiting the City Walls and Cathedral. Following a trail of light through the North Holmes Road campus, our walk will end with a warm warm drink and music outside our stunning Verena Holmes building.

We ask everyone participating to festoon themselves with lights, carry lanterns and torches – the brighter the better! There will be prizes for the best decorated person/group.

Gather at 5.00pm on at Augustine House (Rhodaus Town, Canterbury, CT1 2YA).

Walk commences at 5.15pm.

To ensure the safety of all participants, attendance levels will be managed and the event will held entirely outdoors.

If you live too far away to attend our Launch, be part of Light up the Night Online by using the hashtag #LightUpTheNightCCCU. Decorate yourself (or your surroundings) with lights and post a photo on social media with your location (town or area). We’ll add you to our online “Star Map” showing where our alumni, partners and campuses are based.
