Make a difference as a Futures Partner

Are you interested in using your talent, experience and expertise to make a true difference to a students’ future?
As a valued member of the Canterbury Christ Church alumni community, you can make a real impact by offering your time as a Futures Guide, a Futures Coach, offering a Futures Placement, or sharing your experiences through a Futures Story

Futures Guide

Support our students and recent graduates in sharing your knowledge, skills and expertise directly.

Our students tell us they are keen to network and learn from alumni, and as a Futures Guide you will connect with students through various opportunities. These could include career panel sessions, guest speaker events, special programme competitions that require alumni judges or campus-based recruitment and information sessions for prospective students. Could you be an online Futures Guide, answering online queries? Or could your company provide premises for an alumni/student event or host an industry panel session? Whichever way you think you can help our students, we will find the right opportunity for you.

Being a Futures Guide is a flexible and rewarding way to support the next generation of Christ Church students.

Futures Coach

A unique opportunity to support our Futures Scholarship holders throughout their studies at Christ Church from their first week to their last day.

As a Futures Coach your role will be to positively impact the personal growth, confidence, and career advancement of your scholar. Using your expertise and knowledge, you will support and empower the scholar through effective listening, guiding and challenging. If you think you can offer one of our scholarship holders a fresh perspective on things, have a real interest in the success of others and are prepared to offer an empathic ear, this could be the role for you.

Futures Placement

Make an impact by offering a Futures work related experience to a student looking to maximise their potential.

Futures Story

Inspire others with your personal or professional success story.

We want to share your achievements and expertise with our student and alumni community through case studies, profiles and blogs. Knowledge sharing is a positive way of making an impact and helping others learn, and we know our alumni have a lot of experience to share! And even if you don’t want to feature yourself, you can become an e-supporter regularly sharing our communications and profiles via social media. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to support our students, this is a great way of shining a spotlight on our successful alumni community and inspiring others.
