The word alumni means the former pupils or students of a school, college or university.
Alumni is plural. The singular versions of the noun are Alumnus for a man and Alumna for a woman.
The word is widely used throughout Higher Education across the English-speaking world, but is more commonly understood in the US than it is here in the UK.
Any student who has completed at least one year of study and achieved a qualification with us automatically becomes one of our alumni.
