Lee has always been interested in working with children who have considerable barriers to their learning and is currently based in a school working in Kent working with children with Special Educational needs.

In 2018, Lee received the Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award for the influence he had had on Christ Church students and newly qualified teachers in the area of Special Educational Needs, inspiring them to create more inclusive classroom environments and to adopt inclusive teaching techniques and methods.

Lee has a real passion for the research he undertook as part of his PGCE and shares this with trainee teachers, showing how his research influences his current work and exciting students about the prospects for their own research to impact on their development as teachers.
